Malta's public notices, in plain English, every week.

New planning applications and court property sales, sorted by locality and type, each with a link to the official notice. We are checking whether people want this before building it.

Not an official government service. StreetSignal is an independent project. It is not run by or connected with the Government of Malta, the Department of Information or the Planning Authority. The official notice is always the one that counts.

Sign up for news of the launch

Nothing here is launched. Pick what interests you and leave your email. If that product launches, we send you one email to say so; if it doesn't, we delete your details without writing (see the privacy notice below).

Each button opens a short form on Tally, our form service, not on this site. You give your email, optionally a locality (or, for Leads, a region and types of work), and tick a box to agree to emails about that product.

How it would work

  • Every entry links to the official notice, which is always the source to rely on.
  • No names of applicants, owners or debtors, and no house numbers.
  • Applications are listed factually, with no opinion for or against any project.
  • Written in English, from notices published in Maltese and English.

Privacy notice

This notice covers the four StreetSignal sign-up forms linked from this page. Last updated: 25 October 2026.

Who holds your details

StreetSignal, an independent project run privately. Contact: hello.streetsignal@proton.me.

What we collect

Your email address, the product you signed up for and your consent. If you choose to give them: a locality (Digest, Reports, Auctions), or a region and the types of work you are interested in (Leads). We do not ask for your name, and the forms take no files and no payments. This page sets no cookies and uses no advertising tools. Visits are counted without cookies or personal data, via Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Why, and on what basis

For two things only: to send you one email if the product you signed up for launches, and to count how many people are interested, by product, locality, region and type of work, to decide whether to build it. The basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give with the tick box on the form. You can unsubscribe or withdraw consent at any time.

Who else sees it

  • Tally (Tally BV, Belgium), our form service, stores the sign-ups for us under a data processing agreement, on Google Cloud servers in Belgium. We have turned off email notifications of new sign-ups, so the sign-ups stay with Tally in the EU.
  • Proton (Proton AG, Switzerland) provides our email address. Any email we send you, or you send us, passes through it.
  • Cloudflare hosts this page and may log technical data, such as IP addresses, for security.

Sign-ups may be viewed from outside the EU, including from Australia.

Your details are never sold, shared with anyone else or used for anything other than the product you chose. Only counts, with no email addresses, go into our notes on the test.

How long we keep it

The test runs until 6 December 2026. We keep your details until we decide whether to launch the product you chose, and never later than 25 October 2027 (12 months after this page was published). If it launches, we send you one launch email and then delete your details. If it doesn't, we delete them without writing. Sign-ups are deleted by hand. If you unsubscribe or withdraw consent before then, we delete your details sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello.streetsignal@proton.me. We will act within one month. You can complain to Malta's Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt) or to the data protection authority where you live.
